Tourist SIM & Mobile Data in Albania
Local mobile data can be good value in Albania. Vodafone currently lists three Tourist Tera Packs for 2026, but do not assume that every online tourist offer is an instant eSIM.
SHORT ANSWER
Buy a local SIM or eSIM if your roaming is expensive — but save the essentials offline too.

Quick questions
Is mobile data expensive in Albania?
Local tourist packages can be inexpensive compared with international roaming. Compare your home operator with current Albanian prepaid offers.
Can tourists buy eSIM in Albania?
Vodafone supports eSIM, but do not assume every Tourist Tera Pack is delivered as an instant eSIM. Web-exclusive tourist eSIM bundles announced in May 2026 were cancelled before launch, so check the exact current product before paying.
Should I still save travel information offline?
Yes. Offline bus, airport, cash and accommodation information is useful before your local SIM is active and in places with weak coverage.
